Every five years NCBTMB, the group who conducts the NCE, conducts a comprehensive job task analysis (JTA) to ensure its exams continue to address the most current standards in the field. The most recent JTA report called on the expertise of more than 4,000 massage professionals. Based on this industry input, NCBTMB updated its exams to reflect today’s job and performance competencies.
