I really like the article, i thing people who go on these carzy diets have to realize they are impossible to keep up. You need to find balance with a great diet and exercise(4 times a week, 1 hour a day)at least. But before they start on a new fitness and diet plan, they must come to terms with what is making them eat so much. I agree with this article that a persons esteem is linked to there weight. People who have been over weight for a while, should discuss with a professional or a support group to get to the root of the problem first!
I am impressed that I am not diet now. Because some people want to do it and failed. Some of them really wasted their time for doing this activity.
This is a very well published article. I always support eating "good foods" Vs "bad Foods" because this is the BEST way to diet. I don't believe in drugs or some products that claim to do miracle.
Excellent post for the author of 16 reasons not to diet

It is true that dieting does not work in the USA or any other advanced industrial countries nowadays. The reason for that is our diets are not healthy today. It causes a lot of different kinds of chronic degenerative diseases in our society such as obesity, cancer, heart problems, diabetes etc… It is polluted with different kinds of chemicals, toxins, antibiotics, hormones in our diet. How can we get healthy with those kinds of foods. If we need healthy body is by doing detoxification of our body at least once a month, this will clean up all the toxins from our body that we will not regain weight that easily and also other chronic degenerative diseases in the long run.
I am not going to say that I completely a hundred percent agree with the article. Diet is good, as long as, the dieters know what journey they'd embark on. And it is all about the mind set of what diet is. Controlling the food portion, not escaping the food; that is a diet to me.
