According to new research, the incidence of weight-lifting injuries is on the rise. In fact, the Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital found that more than 970,000 weight training-related injuries were treated in U.S. hospital emergency departments between 1990 and 2007, increasing nearly 50 percent during the 18-year study period. Fifty percent! We all know how important lifting weights is for losing weight, increasing bone density and improving overall health and wellness, but this study points to the need for more education when it comes to proper form when weight training. It's studies like these that show how important it is to work with a certified personal trainer to reach your health and wellness goals!

Hi there,
I cannot but agree. I have been taeching Pilates and had several clients who ended up in my classes after rather severe injuries as a result of improper power training. I have even had one lady who suffered a really bad shoulder injury, which practically paralised her right arm for weeks during a one-to-one with a personal trainer.
There is one thing, though, that I do not understand and would like to hear about your experience. Many of these clients, after recovering - partly/mostly as a result of taking Pilates - return to the gym, and what is worse to their dangerous habits. Despite my warning, they seem to have a crush on it. What's the catch?
It us a good number, I hope this year to exceed one million cases treated. Calculator RCA ieftin
It's a great information for everyone that personal trainer is needed during attempting hard works.
